Llanddwyn Spiced and Penmon White won Silver for Best Design at the World Rum Awards 2022.

Branding

Anglesey Rum Co were keen to have the Menai Bridge on their logo, the bridge that connects Anglesey to the rest of the UK.

Illustrations

The four bottles feature an illustration of lighthouses on Anglesey - Penmon, Skerries, South Stack and Llanddwyn. We decided early on that the foil on each label would match the contents for each bottle, silver for white rum, gold for golden rum, copper for spiced rum and opted green for dark rum. I then illustrated the lighthouses with a colour theme to compliment this.

The Menai Straits

On the front of the bottle, there’s a metallic strip seperating the illustration to the name of the bottle. This is based on the Menai Straits, a body of water that separates Anglesey to the rest of Wales.

Special Release

Label designed for their ‘Special Release’ rum, this rum has aged for 2 years in virgin American oak, developing a deep caramel, toasted coconut, vanilla and warming spice. The label is the same design but with no illustration so they can write the details for each release.
